Duration: guaranteed through April of 2028 - ongoing contract

Hours: 7am – 4pm

Must Haves

• Minimum Dod Interim Secret Clearance, preferred active Secret Clearance
• Sec+ required
• The ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions with an installation script
• Understanding of programming logic and API implementation
• Experience testing within PowerShell, troubleshooting skills and knowledge of common ports and protocols

Plusses

• Experience scripting in any of the following: Python, Bash, SWL, VBScript, HTML, XML, JSON, CSV

Job Description/Day to Day

At one of Insight Global’s enterprise clients, this role supports the development and enforcement of organization‑wide information security policies, standards, and procedures for secure and isolated computing environments. On a day‑to‑day basis, the team advises stakeholders on compliant security and data protection requirements while reviewing system designs and configurations to ensure proper control placement. The role evaluates and approves unique or non‑standard configurations, determining risk acceptability and alignment with internal and regulatory standards. Additionally, it plays a key role in investigating and resolving security incidents and participating in ongoing security assessments and audits. Collaboration with IT, engineering, and compliance teams is essential to maintaining a strong and resilient security posture.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
