Job Description
An Insight Global client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team fully onsite in Owings Mills. MD. In this role one will develop electronics & PCBs for embedded systems, solve electrical & software problems, and build medical devices of all kinds.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers
- Work on a broad range of topics, including RF, battery optimization, wireless communication, microphones, synthetic radar, and control systems
- Manage 2-3 projects at a time, with involvement in around 10 projects overall
- Power optimization for battery management
- Design for wired and wireless communication/RF
- Analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, PLC's
- Experience working with FPGAs, ASICs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience
- High level of proficiency with technical engineering concepts
- KiCAD, ALTIUM
- Oscilloscope, PCB analysis & troubleshooting, soldering & PCB rework
