Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer for a premier client based in Washington, DC.

This role is designed for a .NET expert who thrives in the "web tier," specializing in crafting seamless, high-performance user interfaces using ASP.NET Core MVC.

You will act as the bridge between complex system architecture and the end-user experience, taking ownership of the frontend logic, Razor views, and client-server interactions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Develop: Design and maintain sophisticated frontend interfaces using ASP.NET Core MVC, leveraging Razor Views, layouts, and view components.

Optimize UI/UX: Enhance existing web applications with a focus on responsiveness, performance, and intuitive user behavior.

Frontend Logic: Implement robust logic using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to ensure a consistent experience across all platforms.

System Integration: Seamlessly integrate frontend components with backend RESTful APIs and services for efficient data rendering.

Collaborative Design: Partner with backend developers and architects to ensure UI implementations align with the broader system architecture.

Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews and uphold strict adherence to modern coding standards and security best practices.

Problem Solving: Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and accessibility (508 compliance) issues.

Agile Participation: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to deliver scalable solutions on time.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience: 8+ years of professional .NET/C# development experience, with a heavy emphasis on web-based technologies.

Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise in ASP.NET Core MVC, including Razor syntax, controllers, and model binding.

Web Fundamentals: High proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development workflows.

Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS or Azure environments using Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins).

API Knowledge: Strong experience integrating web applications with RESTful services and a solid understanding of backend integration points.

Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a collaborative Agile/Scrum team.
