Field Service Engineer Electrical machinery

As a Service Engineer at INGSOL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support and assistance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and optimizing the performance of products. To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning, and servicing of German machinery
• Field Service Management: Coordinate and execute on-site service visits in India & Abroad, including scheduling travel arrangements and client communication
• Performance Tuning: Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement necessary adjustments to optimize equipment functionality
• Industrial Automation: Possess a basic understanding of industrial automation systems to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Tool Utilization: Utilize a variety of tools and equipment during servicing operations, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols
• Client Interaction: Maintain professional communication with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide technical guidance, training, and support

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in VMS management and other relevant software applications
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems and maintenance practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems and their components
• Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site service visits
