As a Quality Assurance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through systematic testing processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing requirements to identify ambiguities and ensure clear testable requirements
- Preparing test approach, plan, and effort estimation for the requirements
- Designing test cases and reviewing peer-level test cases
- Executing test cases, both manual and automated, in sprints and SIT test cycles
- Raising defects, participating in defect triage, and monitoring communication with development teams for defect resolution
- Following defined QA processes and participating in assigned QA activities
- Providing daily UAT reporting during UAT execution and conducting defect triaging with Tech/Test team and Business team
Moreover, your role will involve guiding the design and development of automated scripts and frameworks, identifying automation test cases, and ensuring automation executions and reporting reflect in the release plan. You will also be responsible for implementing a test data management strategy across environments, monitoring environment availability, and deployments for effective QA planning and utilization.
Additionally, the job requires expertise in the Retail domain, experience with mobile applications, and the ability to handle QA operations end-to-end. You should possess analysis and troubleshooting skills to support end-users and coordinate with vendors and intra-teams.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- College or University degree in Computer Science, Informational Technology, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ISTQB Foundational Level or Certified Advanced or Expert Tester
- Experience in tools like JIRA, QMetry, DevOps, Flutter, Postman, JMeter, Selenium, Appium, and Tricentis TOSCA
