1. Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

  • Utilize contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks, or Clio) to streamline workflows, track contract lifecycles, and ensure compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Maintain and update contract databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all contract-related data.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in contract terms, collaborating with legal counsel and stakeholders.

2. Litigation management

  • Conduct legal research, Manage litigation documents using e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, Adapt)
  • Manage client communications professionally, maintaining confidentiality and fostering strong relationships.
  • Coordinate virtual meetings with US clients, ensuring alignment with their time zones and expectations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those relevant to US jurisdictions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, or Bloomberg Law to support case strategies and client deliverables.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the organization’s operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and operations, to support business objectives.

Qualification

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal.
  • Proven experience in contract management, litigation support, and handling US-based clients.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks, Clio).
  • Experience with e-discovery and litigation management platforms (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull).
  • Expertise in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
