Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMC Programmer cum Operator located in Chennai. The role involves programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components and fasteners. Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, developing CNC programs using modern software, setting up and adjusting machinery, and ensuring products meet stringent quality standards. The Programmer cum Operator will also inspect finished products, perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards in the workspace.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Programming and Computer Science concepts
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• A strong understanding of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including G-code and relevant software
• Experience in machine setup and maintenance, as well as reading technical blueprints and specifications
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, precision-engineered products
• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in the manufacturing or engineering sectors is an advantage
