Job Description

As a Sales Representative II in the Acute Care & Monitoring Vision Portfolio based in Mumbai at Medtronic, you will play a key role in promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts. Your primary goal will be to meet or exceed sales targets by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
  • Establish education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Conduct market research, including monitoring customers and competitors' activities.
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.

In this role, you will be an established and productive sales professional managing multiple small to mid-size accounts. You will work autonomously with general supervision, focusing on building relationships with clients and identifying new potential customers. Your impact will be direct on achieving departmental sales results, and you may help set objectives for individual or team accounts. Additionally, you will work on larger, moderately complex accounts or have a small or medium-sized quota/territory. Your responsibilities will also involve understanding the market landscape, marketing, pricing structure, and having more influence on pricing structures.

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of experience OR Associates Degree AND 4+ years of experience OR Bachelors Degree AND 2+ years of experience.
  • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
