Plant Manager
Location: Prince George, BC
Salary: $110,000 – $135,000+ per year
A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a Plant / Production Manager to lead operations at their Prince George facility. This role is responsible for driving production performance, safety, and overall plant profitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations to meet production, quality, and delivery targets
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor KPIs and resolve operational, maintenance, and performance issues
- Optimize labour, equipment, and materials to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and overall plant financial performance
- Lead, coach, and develop plant teams; support hiring and workforce planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in manufacturing; 5+ years in plant leadership
- Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
