Job Description

Role: We are currently looking for a motivated, creative and talented Video Editor/Content Creator to join our creative team. In this role you would work alongside and support the creative director, art director, and senior designers with varied design and production efforts.

Location: Mississauga

Compensation

The annual salary ranges from $50,000.00 to $60,000.00

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end production in creating engaging video content, including filming, editing, and publishing.
  • Transform raw footage into finished, high-quality video content by arranging scenes, effects, and managing audio.
  • Ability to structure a video for maximum engagement and clear communication.
  • Ensuring continuity, audio quality, and seamless transitions.
  • Working with marketing teams, directors, or stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Optimizing content to meet requirements for varied social media platforms.
  • Tailoring video formats, aspect ratios, and lengths for specific platforms such as, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Planning, storyboarding, setting up and capture on-site and in-studio video and still photography.
  • Selecting of the best footage, cutting scenes, adjust pacing, adding audio, and assembling the final product.
  • Producing and adding custom motion graphics, adding special effects, color correction, and sound design.
  • Collaborate with teams, managing deadlines, and ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Reviewing pre-captured raw footage to identify the strongest footage or shots for use.
  • Creating rough and final cuts.
  • Work with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects is preferred.
  • Archiving and organizing media assets.

Qualifications

  • University degree emphasis in audio and visual communication
  • Strong skills using Adobe Creative Cloud software suite.
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition
  • Provide an accessible online portfolio showcasing your creative work.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, handling of multiple projects, strong creative ideas.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS is an additional plus.
