• Description and Location SQL DBA - MS-SQL and MongoDB respectively Core Responsibilities Database Design Development. Design and implement robust SQL database architectures. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Ensure data normalization, indexing, and partitioning for performance.

Performance Optimization

Monitor and tune database performance using DMVs, Profiler, and performance dashboards. Analyze and optimize queries for speed and efficiency.

Maintenance Operations

Perform regular backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planning. Apply patches and upgrades to maintain system stability. Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.

Security Compliance

Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and encryption. Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

Collaboration Documentation

Work closely with developers and analysts to meet application requirements. Document database structures, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills Qualifications

Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Experience with database design, normalization, and indexing. Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and HA/DR solutions (e.g., Always On, clustering). Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar.

Experience Typically 35+ years in SQL database engineering or administration roles.
