We are seeking experienced and passionate Handloom & Textile Expert with strong field experience in Assam’s weaving and artisan ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with weavers, artisan groups, cooperatives, SHGs, producer cooperatives, and textile clusters to strengthen traditional handloom practices, improve product quality, enhance livelihoods, and support market-oriented textile development initiatives.

The role requires deep understanding of Assamese textiles, natural fibers, traditional weaving techniques, dyeing processes, design development, and community engagement.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Design, Handloom Technology, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Rural Development, or related field with 5-7 years of experience.

Specialized knowledge of handloom and traditional textiles of Assam preferred.
