The Role

You will be tasked with building and owning high-performance React front-ends for real-time trading and market data. Working on a modern stack with significant greenfield opportunities, you will partner closely with quants to turn complex models and machine learning insights into intuitive, high-speed UIs. This role requires making mission-critical architectural calls regarding performance, state management, and the handling of massive, fast-moving datasets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building high-performance React front-ends for real-time trading platforms
• Creating sophisticated dashboards and visualisations for massive datasets
• Partnering with quants to industrialize ML insights into functional UIs
• Making architectural decisions regarding performance and real-time data state
• Owning problems end-to-end and influencing technical direction
• Collaborating as a peer with a highly respected, hands-on Tech Lead

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Engineer
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
• Experience working on complex, data-heavy, real-time systems
• Confident in owning technical strategy and architecture
• Strong Computer Science and engineering fundamentals
• Fintech or trading exposure is highly desirable (but not strictly required)
