About the Client

Our client is a global investment firm operating across credit and multi-asset strategies. Their technology teams build robust data platforms that power investment decisions and portfolio analytics at scale.

Role Overview

This role focuses on designing and building scalable data infrastructure supporting credit trading and analytics platforms.

You will work on batch and streaming data pipelines, distributed data systems, and high-performance storage architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
• Develop scalable data platforms (batch and streaming)
• Optimize SQL and relational database performance
• Work with messaging and caching systems (Kafka, Redis, etc.)
• Support columnar storage and modern serialization formats (Parquet, Arrow)
• Collaborate with trading and analytics teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years data engineering experience
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise
• Strong Python experience
• Experience with distributed data systems
• Experience building data platforms or data lake architectures
• Strong debugging and optimization skills
