Role Overview:
You are being hired as either an assistant manager or a deputy manager to handle inventory control and planning for a globally renowned fast fashion brand. The role is based in Gurgaon for India's retail operations with a focus on retail allocation. Your main responsibility will be to create an attractive sales floor that matches the local seasonal characteristics, volume, facing, and promotion to achieve customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be required to make sales and inventory plans by color and size unit for each store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create the best plan for product range, store layout, allocation timing, and quantity of products to maximize each store's sales and profit.
- Confirm the sales by store and product, and order the missing items from the company's warehouse to the store to avoid disappointing customers.
- Train store managers and staff on the inventory management system.
- Collaborate with other departments such as store operations, merchandising planning, logistics, and in-store merchandising to achieve the company's goal as one team.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3-6 years of business experience.
- Must possess math and analytical skills, and relevant computer software knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Should demonstrate sensitivity in working with different cultures and strong communication skills.
