Job Title: Plumbing & Fire Fighting Supervisor

Job Summary

The Plumbing & Fire Fighting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plumbing System Supervision

• Supervise installation and maintenance of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
• Ensure proper execution of piping, fittings, valves, and fixtures
• Monitor water pressure, leak detection, and system performance

2. Fire Fighting System Management

• Oversee installation and maintenance of fire fighting systems such as hydrants, sprinklers, and pumps
• Ensure readiness and functionality of fire safety equipment
• Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire systems

3. Site Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other departments
• Ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications
• Monitor daily site activities and workforce

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to local fire safety regulations and building codes
• Maintain safety standards during all operations
• Support audits and inspections

5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Identify faults and ensure timely repairs
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules
• Handle emergency breakdowns

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily work reports and maintenance logs
• Track material usage and inventory
• Prepare reports for management and audits

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Plumbing / Mechanical or related field
• Certification in fire safety systems (preferred)

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting systems
• Experience in construction projects / facility management preferred

Key Skills

• Knowledge of plumbing and fire fighting systems
• Understanding of drawings and layouts
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Team supervision and coordination
• Basic knowledge of safety and compliance standards

Working Conditions

• On-site supervision role
• May require emergency response and extended working hours

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
