Fire Marshal

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
• Ensure all fire safety equipment is accessible, functional, and properly maintained.
• Monitor compliance with fire safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Carry out fire risk assessments and identify potential fire hazards.
• Organize and participate in fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
• Ensure emergency exits, escape routes, and assembly points are clearly marked and unobstructed.
• Provide fire safety induction and awareness training to employees and contractors.
• Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with local fire authorities and emergency services when required.
• Maintain records of inspections, fire drills, training sessions, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor hot work activities and ensure permit-to-work requirements are followed.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of flammable and combustible materials.
• Support Safety Officers and HSE teams in implementing safety initiatives.
• Respond promptly during fire emergencies and guide evacuation procedures.
• Conduct routine checks of fire alarm and detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory fire safety requirements and standards.
• Promote fire prevention awareness throughout the workplace.
• Perform any other fire and safety-related duties assigned by management.

Pay: ₹12,172.97 - ₹22,387.41 per month
