Job Summary

ACME MEP Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Estimation Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in cost estimation, vendor coordination, and tendering support for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge along with the ability to prepare accurate BOQs, handle vendor quotations, and support competitive bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:1. Estimation & Costing:

• Analyse project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate HVAC cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs for ducting, piping, insulation, and HVAC equipment.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost sheets, and rate analysis.
• Ensure cost optimization through value engineering and technical evaluation.

2. Tendering & Proposal Preparation:

• Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and tender documents.
• Float enquiries to vendors for HVAC equipment, ducting, insulation, and accessories.
• Collect and evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements (CST).
• Assist in e-tendering processes and bid submissions within deadlines.

3. Vendor & Procurement Coordination:

• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, technical clarifications, and rate negotiations.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely submission of offers.
• Support procurement team with technical inputs for material finalization.

4. Client & Internal Coordination:

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams for scope clarification.
• Provide technical support during client discussions and pre-sales activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure feasibility of proposals.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain records of estimates, vendor quotes, and tender submissions.
• Prepare reports for management on costing, pricing strategy, and project status.
• Support preparation of documentation aligned with project requirements (basic IQ/OQ/PQ exposure preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HVAC estimation / tendering / costing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (ducting, AHU, VRF, chilled water systems).
• Experience in BOQ preparation, CST, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with tendering processes and e-procurement portals.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), MS Word, and basic AutoCAD.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Salary:

₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience and skillset)
