Inhouse and external process specialists allows the Asset Recovery team to provide best in class services to both our internal and external stakeholders.
Comprehensive Procure to Pay and Order to Cash process knowledge coupled with access to data places us in a unique position, with the ability to map end to end process, provide significant analytical insights, suggest process standardization & automation, and most importantly identify financial leakages within these functions.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Engage with vendors / partners to track and ensure compliance in financial and physical claims.
- Conducts reviews without supervision using client data to identify errors and recover.
- Analyses and assesses problems regarding business claims procedure and business operations based on appropriate accounting and financial manuals.
- Utilizes appropriate concepts and proprietary tools/reports to conduct reviews by examining financial data.
- Inspects and evaluates financial information including (but not limited to) buyers’ files, business standards, manifests, purchase orders, invoices, statements, and invoices in order to audit and analyze business operations.
- Structured and organized, able to quickly build detailed review plans and meeting cadences to drive teams to exceed financial objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including such concepts as cost accounting and allocations, overhead, manufacturing costs, general ledger and financial statements.
- Strong background in accounting systems with an emphasis on Procurement and Accounts Payable desirable.
- Use internal data and systems to identify payment variances to determine appropriate actions and to address inaccurate payments to suppliers/ Partners.
- Review complex transaction structures to determine the tax treatment of transaction costs in accordance with tax laws.
- Ability to quickly learn Asset Recoveries reporting & analytics requirements including methodology, transactions and closing processes.
- Proven experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis, FP&A and month end processes
- Develops an understanding of HP's financial processes and a working knowledge of the business.

Skillset Requirements:
- Basic understanding of the recovery reviews and cost savings. Has financial business acumen, E2E knowledge of P2P, O2C, Contra and Procurement functions common business practices and contract language.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (able to create pivot tables, queries, etc)
- Takes a systematic and logical approach to problem solving.
- Works effectively under pressure and rises to challenge - Recovers quickly from setbacks without losing momentum.
- Excellent spoken and written communications skills. Experience with reporting
- The incumbent should be able to maintain high accuracy, productivity standards and should have willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge on SAP S4 Hana, Ariba, Oracle, P360, Orion, Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Align recovery and team objectives with the company’s goals.
- Can read the audience and adapt communication to audience needs.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align process strategies with overall business goals and recovery objectives.

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, business, management, related disciplines
- Typically, 7+ years of work experience.
- Typically, 4+ years’ experience in an accounting environment
