Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Indian dishes (curries, tandoor, biryani, breads)
  • Assist Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section
  • Handle mise en place (pre-preparation for service)
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed
  • Monitor portion control and reduce food wastage
  • Assist in stock checking and inventory control (FIFO)
  • Supervise and guide commis chefs/junior staff
  • Ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work area.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Good time management and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail in taste and presentation
  • Teamwork and coordination skills
  • Basic leadership and supervisory ability
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
