Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes (curries, tandoor, biryani, breads)
- Assist Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section
- Handle mise en place (pre-preparation for service)
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed
- Monitor portion control and reduce food wastage
- Assist in stock checking and inventory control (FIFO)
- Supervise and guide commis chefs/junior staff
- Ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work area.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail in taste and presentation
- Teamwork and coordination skills
- Basic leadership and supervisory ability
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
