This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with House of Spices Inc., India senior management and staff in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas of House of Spices Inc., India: recruitment/employment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, benefits administration, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Role Purpose
The role of HR Automation, Analytics & Governance is to run and continuously improve the People Operating System of the organization.
This role ensures performance rigor, SOP discipline, people intelligence, and transformation initiatives are executed consistently across geographies to support business growth, service excellence, cost optimization, and leadership accountability.
The role acts as a critical execution, governance, and transformation partner to People Strategy leadership—enabling HR to operate as an outcomes‑driven People Function, not a transactional support team.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Analytics & Leadership Insights
- Build and maintain leadership dashboards covering:
- Attrition hotspots (by function, location, role)
- Hiring vs productivity and ramp‑up effectiveness
- Workforce trends (warehouse vs sales vs support)
- Provide monthly and quarterly people insights for leadership and business reviews
- Translate people data into clear actions, risks, and recommendations, not just reports
2. HR Systems & Data Discipline
- Ensure HR systems data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting logic across regions
- Partner with HR systems operations to maintain data hygiene and audit readiness
- Enable reliable data foundations for:
- Performance reviews
- Talent discussions
- Governance forums
- AI and automation readiness
3. AI Enablement & Process Optimization
- Drive focused, business‑relevant AI and automation initiatives (controlled scope)
- HR reporting and dashboard automation
- HR SLA and cycle‑time reduction (hiring, onboarding, HR ops)
- Workflow simplification and digitization
- Measure and report impact in terms of:
- Efficiency
- Accuracy
- Time saved
- Dependency reduction
- Ensure all AI initiatives remain aligned to people outcomes and business priorities, not experimentation
4. HR Transformation Projects
- This role will actively own and execute HR transformation initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Support the shift from transactional HR to a structured People Operating Model
- Embed governance, cadence, and accountability across HR processes
- Performance & Talent Governance Enablement
- People Governance & SOP Maturity
- Standardize and maintain HR SOPs and process documentation
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
- 2–5 years of progressive HR experience
Prior exposure to:
- HR analytics or structured reporting
- Process improvement or systems‑driven HR work
Critical Skills
- Strong understanding of performance management and talent governance
- High comfort with data, dashboards, and analysis (Excel / reporting tools)
- Process discipline and governance mindset
- Ability to challenge constructively using data and insights
- Strong stakeholder communication and executive maturity
- High ownership and follow‑through orientation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in human resources or related field.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)/(SHRM-CP) credential
- 5 to 8 years of human resource experience.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. ADP) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
