Role Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager: Fulfilment Center will oversee day-to-day operations at Hoora’s on-site fulfillment center in Nagpur in a full-time capacity. This role manages warehouse workflows, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of autocare products to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The manager will supervise warehouse staff, allocate tasks and shifts, monitor performance, and promote a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
• Working alongside 3PL and utilizing WMS software to optimize warehouse and fulfillment operations
• Tracking inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or deadstock
• Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals
• Preventing inventory shrinkage, accidents, and occupational hazards
• Optimizing procurement of inventory by improving vendor relationships, performance, and lead times
• Managing a dynamic team of operations supervisors, full-time and part-time warehouse staff, and other direct reports
• Maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and 3PLs (if applicable)
• Reports and dashboard readiness on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs
• Providing data-backed and actionable updates to senior management to improve order fulfillment SLAs and vendor performance.
• Supporting efforts to attain certifications (such as ISO 9002 and COPC) for quality in installation, production, and customer experience
• Manpower hiring, attrition control, training and development.
• Responsibilities include maintaining stock accuracy, optimizing space utilization, implementing inventory control procedures, and coordinating with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams. The role also involves tracking operational KPIs, resolving issues affecting order quality or delivery times, and continuously improving processes to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Warehouse Management skills to run daily fulfillment center activities efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills, including stock reconciliation, demand forecasting, and basic knowledge of warehouse software or ERPs.
• Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills, with experience leading teams, managing shift schedules, and coaching staff in a high-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service awareness, with the ability to collaborate with support teams to maintain service levels and resolve order-related concerns.
• Relevant experience in warehouse or fulfillment center operations, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to accuracy and timelines.
• Comfort with data-driven decision-making and basic proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards, and readiness to work on-site in Nagpur.
