Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose:

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets by preventing financial losses due to theft and fraud. You'll be at the forefront of supporting security initiatives and ensuring the compliance of safety and environmental programs in your designated stores.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing advanced tools to detect incidents of theft and fraud.
• Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports to identify suspicious activities.
• Monitoring the physical security measures of the store.
• Conducting audits of Electronic Article Surveillance systems to bolster security.
• Promoting a culture focused on reducing shrinkage.
• Preparing detailed and accurate reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
• Preserving evidence related to theft cases.
• Collaborating with law enforcement and, if necessary, testifying in criminal and civil court proceedings.
• Reporting any hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty and striving to minimize injury risk to yourself, fellow associates, vendors, customers, and the company.
• Maintaining integrity and a focus on operational concerns while driving the store's key asset protection objectives.
