HMSHost runs the restaurants, bars, and cafes in airports across North America — from Starbucks to Shake Shack to local brews. Our corporate office in Bethesda, MD supports thousands of food & beverage locations. We need an Operations Coordinator to handle the paperwork side of airport operations.
This is a hybrid role. Some days you'll work from our Bethesda office, some days from home.
What You'll Do
Badging & Compliance Support — You'll help track employee TSA badge applications and renewals. This means logging who has what, following up on missing documents, and keeping the spreadsheet clean.
New Hire Paperwork — When a new restaurant manager joins, you'll make sure their onboarding forms are signed, scanned, and filed. No HR experience needed — we'll show you which form goes where.
Data Entry & Tracking — You'll update training records (ServSafe certifications, alcohol service), track expiration dates, and flag anything about to lapse.
Office Support — On days at the Bethesda office (6905 Rockledge Dr), you'll print training packets, help prep orientation binders, and restock basic supplies.
Vendor Coordination — You'll call repair vendors to confirm service times and log their visit details.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills — typing, email, Excel (sorting & data entry)
- You don't need airport or restaurant experience
- Reliable internet for work-from-home days
- Can get to Bethesda, MD when needed
