Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical system design for building services.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Revit (MEP), Dialux/Relux, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with International & Indian standards (IS, IEC, NEC, NBC, NFPA).
• Experience in preparing SLDs, load calculations, BOQ, and technical specifications.
• Exposure to healthcare facility electrical design (preferred).
• Knowledge of ELV systems / Fire Alarm System material submittals (FAS) design (preferred).
• Ability to review vendor/shop drawings and.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for building and industrial projects (HT/LT, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection).
• Prepare & review SLDs, load schedules, BOQ, specifications, and GFC drawings, cost estimate.
• Coordinate with architects, structural & MEP teams for integrated project solutions.
• Review vendor/shop drawings and material submittals for technical compliance.
• Ensure compliance to IS/IEC/NEC/NBC/NFPA standards and project requirements.
• Provide site support, conduct technical inspections, and resolve technical issues.
• Experience in healthcare projects and ELV and FAS design will be an added advantage.
