Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Suitland, MD

Pay: $25/hour

Experience: 2 to 3+ years of maintenance experience, apartment turnovers, or HVAC experience is preferred

Type: Full-time; Contract

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

Basic repairs (tighten hardware, patch small holes, hang shelves)
Unclog sinks and toilets; identify and report leaks
Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, and test smoke/CO detectors
Change HVAC filters and clean vents
Clean and maintain appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer)
Preventive cleaning to reduce mold, pests, and wear
Safely use basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammer, drill)
Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
Know emergency shutoffs and follow basic home safety practices
