Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Ellicott City, MD

Pay: $25/hour

Experience: 2-3+ years of residential maintenance experience, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance

Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

Handle basic repairs (tighten hardware, patch small holes, hang shelves)
Unclog sinks and toilets; identify and report leaks
Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, and test smoke/CO detectors
Change HVAC filters and clean vents
Preventive cleaning to reduce mold, pests, and wear
Safely use basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammer, drill)
Clean and maintain appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer)
Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
Understanding of emergency shutoffs and follow basic home safety practices
