Android Engineer - Kotlin Multiplatform

You have the opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Mobile Engineer with the following qualifications:

• *Role Overview:**

As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining direct-to-consumer mobile applications with a focus on user scale. You will utilize your hands-on experience in mobile engineering to implement proper design patterns and the latest tech stack like Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutine, and Dagger. Your expertise in the MVVM architectural pattern will be crucial in managing UI state in a reactive, lifecycle-aware manner.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Possess 3-6 years hands-on mobile engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin / Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, lifecycle, debugging, and performance optimization
• Expertise in the MVVM architectural pattern using Jetpack ViewModel and StateFlow/SharedFlow
• Experience in building mobile apps with proper design patterns and latest tech stack
• Built REST APIs with a good understanding of REST principles
• Hands-on experience in writing Unit tests for good code coverage
• Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket and Git, CI/CD pipeline
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Exposure to AI Assisted / Agentic Development workflows
• Good working experience with Android architecture components
• Experience with automated UI testing using Maestro and ADPF
• Ability to use analytics for measuring UI responsiveness and customer experience improvements

If you have exposure to Swift / Flutter, it will be considered an added advantage. Additionally, familiarity with BFF patterns and handling flaky network conditions through intelligent caching and user guidance will be beneficial in this role.
