Accounting Manager / India Accounting Lead

Role Overview:

• Maintain robust internal controls and documentation in record systems to support audits and tax preparations.
• Assist with financial reporting for banking compliance, fundraising, and investor requirements.

Qualifications

• CA certification is mandatory, with a strong background in controls and audit.
• Exposure to US GAAP or experience with multinational firms is advantageous.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 610 years of overall experience, including 24 years in Big 4 or national public accounting (audit or assurance).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate accounting data into actionable insights.
• Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or startup environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable collaborating across departments in a fast-paced setting, and adaptable for calls across time zones as necessary.
