Software Tester - Automation - Hybrid Working

As an Automation Test Engineer at Heartstream, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web and mobile applications. Your role will involve creating and executing automated test scripts, analyzing performance tests to ensure application scalability and stability, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure overall application quality and reliability. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving emergency medical services, enhancing patient safety, and increasing survival rates globally.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Create and execute automated test cases based on business and technical requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and run performance, load, and reliability tests to validate application scalability and stability.
• Integrate and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and early defect detection.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and support resolution to enhance overall application quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications Required:**

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium + Java (or equivalent tech stack).
• Experience in framework design (Page Object Model / Hybrid / BDD).
• Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
