Senior Talent and Engagement Partner

A newly created national healthcare company is seeking a Senior Talent and Engagement Partner to help build and scope the talent acquisition function from the ground up.

The organization is expanding through acquisition and organic growth, creating a significant opportunity for someone who wants to shape how talent is identified, attracted, assessed, developed, engaged and retained across the business.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who naturally sees the connection between talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, retention and company growth. The role will begin with a strong focus on recruitment, but there is meaningful opportunity to expand its scope over time as the company grows and the people function continues to mature.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this is a virtual role with occasional travel to clinics, schools, professional events and organizational locations.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage proactive talent pipelines for healthcare professionals, clinical leaders, operations roles and corporate office positions.
  • Develop relationships with schools, universities, professional associations, industry networks and talent communities to support campus, early-career and experienced-hire recruitment.
  • Lead recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill roles using direct outreach, LinkedIn, CRM or pipeline tools, market mapping and disciplined candidate follow-up.
  • Help create the recruitment infrastructure, cadence, tools and reporting needed to support a growing healthcare platform.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to define requirements, assess candidates and support a consistent, high-quality selection and candidate experience.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, job fairs, campus events and professional gatherings.
  • Support employer brand messaging and candidate engagement strategies that help prospective candidates understand the opportunity and stay connected.
  • Work with HR and operations leaders to identify retention risks, engagement opportunities and succession needs.
  • Contribute to practical engagement, onboarding, career development, performance and retention initiatives.
  • Use recruitment data, market intelligence and pipeline metrics to support workforce planning and improve hiring outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, campus recruitment, professional recruitment, employee engagement or broader talent management.
  • Success recruiting hard-to-fill professional, clinical, healthcare, technical, operations or corporate office talent in a competitive market.
  • Experience building proactive pipelines and managing candidate relationships over time.
  • Comfort using LinkedIn, recruitment technology, CRM-style tracking, metrics and data to support recruitment discipline.
  • Interest in building talent acquisition processes, tools and practices in a growing organization.
  • Exposure to engagement, onboarding, retention, performance, career pathing or succession practices.
  • Credibility with hiring leaders, candidates and external partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation and follow-up skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CHRP/CRHA designation and bilingualism in French and English are assets.
