Your New Role An organization in the public sector is urgently seeking a

Senior Cisco Network Engineer

to support a critical network transformation initiative. This is a

hands‑on, senior‑level contract

where you’ll step in immediately to stabilize and support an existing Cisco environment while new infrastructure is being deployed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong, hands‑on experience supporting

Cisco ASA firewalls

, including

older Cisco 5516‑X environments

• Meraki experience is mandatory

, including installation and on‑site support

• Proven ability to jump into

high‑urgency, operational network issues

• Experience supporting environments where

design is complete and execution/support is required

• Comfortable collaborating with junior technical staff and providing senior‑level guidance
• Ability to be

onsite in Ottawa for the first month

(some travel to Montreal; expenses covered)
