Job Description
Location: Mississauga, ON
Work Model: Remote (WFH)
Rate: $55-$60/hr
Contract Length: 6 months to start
The Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Angular & Node.js) to build complex, scalable, and maintainable web applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high‑quality, reusable components and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable, and extensible code using Angular and Node.js
- Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions to complex problems
- Provide guidance on best practices, design patterns, and troubleshooting
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, consistent code
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and application improvements
- Support resolution of technical challenges across the stack
- Design and improve testing strategies (unit, integration, regression, performance)
- Contribute to the enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience developing solutions using Angular
- Strong experience building responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, Bootstrap, and CSS
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs using Node.js
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver visually consistent, professional user experiences
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
Desired Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with cloud development and deployment (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and industry trends
- A portfolio or body of work demonstrating creative problem-solving
