Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a respected, community‑focused organization to hire a Fleet Coordinator for a 3‑month contract. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, service‑oriented, and experienced in fleet coordination who enjoys being a central point of contact and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignments, scheduling, and replacements to support organizational programs
- Manage vehicle maintenance and repair activities using fleet management systems such as Holman or Fleetio, ensuring compliance and timely servicing
- Act as the main point of contact for staff regarding vehicle issues, incident reporting, and usage inquiries
- Maintain accurate fleet data and documentation, including insurance, registration, and maintenance records
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve fleet‑related issues efficiently
- Provide administrative and coordination support related to fleet operations as needed
What You Need to Succeed
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Experience working with fleet management systems such as Holman, Fleetio, or similar software
- Strong administrative and coordination skills, including scheduling and record management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to operational issues
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable
- Strong communication skills and a service‑focused approach
- Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multiple teams
