Role Overview:
The Senior Derivatives Analyst will support derivatives operations by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance processes, ensure accuracy in trade verification, and maintain strong operational controls. The role includes leading process improvements, interpreting legal documentation, and supporting the implementation of new business models and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine operational processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide operational support, maintenance, and training during implementation of new processes.
- Utilize strong knowledge of OTC and cleared derivatives to support operational workflows.
- Interpret and verify ISDA documentation and derivatives trade terms.
- Confirm and affirm trades to ensure accuracy of economic and legal terms.
- Identify and resolve data issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure data quality.
- Build and enhance reporting dashboards for monitoring operational performance.
- Manage and validate security master data in Aladdin.
- Develop process controls, compliance rules, and operational monitors using industry platforms.
- Work with legal teams to review or develop derivative agreements.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience in derivatives operations: trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation.
- Proficiency with industry platforms (e.g., MarkitWire, Trade Manager, TriResolve, Calypso).
- Strong understanding of OTC and cleared derivatives lifecycle and cashflow processes.
- Ability to interpret ISDA documentation.
- Experience identifying and resolving trade or cashflow discrepancies.
- Experience with Aladdin.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
