Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
• Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to target specific pain points and improve physiological function
• Manage acute pain conditions through tailored acupuncture interventions, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to relieve muscle tension and reduce chronic pain symptoms
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Ensure aseptic techniques are rigorously followed to prevent infections and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety

Experience

• Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification are required for this role
• Proven experience in acupuncture practice, including managing acute pain and performing trigger point therapy
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture treatments
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, sterile needle handling, and infection control protocols
• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations with various health conditions is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and care
