- Shape tomorrow’s Magic cards today. Help game designers refine their mechanics and card designs. Regularly playtest upcoming Magic sets, contributing thoughtful and well-reasoned feedback.
- Support creative text development. Partner with Worldbuilding and Game Design leads to establish the creative and gameplay goals of each card, and ensure card names, flavor words, and flavor text align with and reinforces those goals.
- Keep a sharp eye on quality. Proofread cards for text errors, layout inconsistencies, and typographical anomalies.
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of professional experience in technical editing, game writing, or comparable work.
- Mastery of the MTG Comprehensive Rules on par with a Level 1 certified judge in a 3-level judge program, or any judge certification focused on Regular Rules Enforcement level expertise.
