Job Description

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for managing Sales Operations for the offline business of the Consumer Lifestyle Division at HARMAN. Your role will involve executing the organizations strategic plans, driving business development initiatives, ensuring optimal ROI, leading monthly sales planning with National Distributors, and overseeing the implementation of the DMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual strategic planning initiatives.
  • Manage demand planning and inventory forecasting for optimal stock availability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales analysis, forecast accuracy, and forecasting processes.
  • Own annual sales budget planning, reporting, and auditing on a monthly basis.
  • Plan and execute trade schemes monthly and quarterly.
  • Drive business growth with National Distributors while ensuring a healthy ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and periodically review operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications Required:

  • 1520+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, sales, and/or business development roles.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet-based tools, and reporting systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative capabilities with effective customer liaison skills.
  • Strong strategic and operational abilities to simplify complex information into clear strategies.
  • Understanding of consumer needs for developing retail sales strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and with industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking to address sales and market challenges.

Additional Details:

Willingness to undertake up to 50% domestic travel.
