Delivery Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong background in the Life Insurance domain to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex, multi-country programs and will be adept in Agile and Scrum methodologies. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital transformation programs across web, mobile, and omnichannel platforms in the Life Insurance domain.
- Manage complex, multi-country, multi-market programs, ensuring alignment with regional regulations and business needs.
- Oversee delivery of Bancassurance and partner integrations involving multiple banks and third-party systems.
- Own project governance including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking against defined KPIs and SLAs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring strong engagement and high customer satisfaction.
- Drive execution using Agile/Scrum, hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies based on program needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional, distributed teams (development, QA, BA, DevOps, vendors) across geographies.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through robust QA, risk management, and compliance adherence.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
- Drive program reporting, governance forums, and executive-level communication.
- Manage scope, change requests, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning activities, including estimations and proposal inputs for digital initiatives.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital platforms with core insurance systems (policy admin, claims, underwriting).
- Drive adoption of best practices, automation, and continuous improvement in delivery processes.
- Manage financials including cost control, revenue tracking, and margin optimization.
- Mentor and lead teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Mandatory Skills:
- 8-10 years of strong experience in delivery management within the Life Insurance domain.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation programs (web, mobile, APIs, integrations).
- Experience managing multi-country, multi-market programs with regulatory awareness.
- Hands-on experience in Bancassurance and ecosystem integrations.
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain (policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, distribution).
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum Framework, and program governance frameworks.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills, including senior leadership interaction.
- Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, or similar delivery tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial management and margin optimization in project delivery.
- Knowledge of automation tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in mentoring and developing high-performance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
