Transport / Logistics Sales Executive (Trucking)

Role Objective
To generate consistent, high-margin transportation business by acquiring clients, optimizing lane utilization, and ensuring long-term contracts for the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and onboard new clients:
- Manufacturers
- FMCG / D2C brands
- E-commerce / quick commerce
- 3PL & freight forwarders
- Develop lane-based business (fixed routes for higher efficiency)
- Focus on contract-based / long-term business over spot loads
- Build relationships with supply chain managers & procurement teams
Sales & Revenue
- Generate profitable loads ensuring positive margin per trip
- Negotiate freight rates based on lane, fuel cost, and demand
- Maximize fleet utilization (reduce empty return trips)
- Cross-sell services:
- Full Truck Load (FTL)
- Part Load (PTL)
- Refrigerated transport (if applicable)
- Warehousing / integrated logistics
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with operations team for:
- Vehicle placement
- Dispatch planning
- Delivery timelines
- Ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
- Handle escalations and maintain service quality
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain pipeline of leads and conversions
- Track:
- Revenue per client
- Lane profitability
- Payment cycles
- Provide weekly updates on business performance
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–6 years experience in transport / trucking sales
- Strong network with:
- Shippers / manufacturers
- Logistics managers
- Understanding of:
- Freight rates
- Key transport lanes in India
- Highly target-driven with commercial awareness (margin focus)
- Good communication & negotiation skills
Qualification
- Graduate (BBA / B.Com / MBA Logistics preferred)

- Fixed Salary + Attractive Incentives on Gross Profit (GP)

- New client acquisition
- Revenue & Gross Profit per month
- Fleet utilization %
- Reduction in empty kilometers
- Average rate per km improvement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
