Bacon, eggs, and more-oh my! Chantilly Heights is hiring a Line Cook/Chef and we are hungry for your culinary skills!
No long nights in the kitchen! The hours of this position are 6am-2pm every other weekend.
In this position you will be expected to:
- Prepare and cook restaurant quality and nutritionally balanced meals including soups, fish, meats, vegetables, salads, and desserts
- Communicate and work efficiently with other dietary and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to all food handling and hygiene practices
- Accurately estimate quantities of food required to reduce waste
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Prior cooking experience and knowledge of special diets, cooking times, and temperature control
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in a large quantities
