Job Description – Plant Manager (Aqua Feed Plant)Position: Plant Manager

Department: Production

Reporting To: VP - Operations

To manage overall plant operations, ensure smooth production, maintain quality, control costs, and handle extruder operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production and achieve targets
• Handle extruder operations and ensure proper pellet quality
• Control overall plant operations including dispatch, engineering stores, and raw material movement (inward & outward)
• Coordinate with purchase department and ensure materials are available on time
• Maintain liaison with government departments for smooth operations and compliance
• Monitor machine performance and minimize breakdowns
• Ensure product quality and coordinate with QC team
• Supervise manpower and maintain discipline
• Ensure safety practices and statutory compliance
• Control raw material usage and production costs
• Prepare daily production and basic reports

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical

Experience

• 8–15 years in feed manufacturing
• Must have hands-on extruder experienceKey Skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to handle teams effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Good knowledge of forecasting techniques for planning materials and production
• Strong coordination and decision-making skills
• Problem-solving and operational control

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
