Role Overview
We are seeking a Chief Scientist to lead the development of our core analytical models and methodologies. This role will focus on building algorithms and systems that convert satellite imagery into actionable insights for crop health monitoring, yield prediction, and environmental risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop crop yield prediction models
· Analyze vegetation health (NDVI, EVI, and related indices)
· Build soil moisture and weather impact models
· Design change detection and land-use classification systems
· Integrate satellite, weather, and environmental datasets
· Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy scalable solutions
Qualifications
· Master’s or PhD in Geospatial Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related field
· 5+ years experience in satellite imagery analysis and agricultural modeling
· Strong knowledge of remote sensing and vegetation indices
· Experience with Python, GIS tools, and Google Earth Engine
