Job Description
A major investment management firm is looking for a Commodities Trader to join its Global Trading Strategies team, with a focus on commodities. This is a hands-on role driving execution, strategy, and market engagement across commodities, while supporting broader macro trading across rates, FX, and volatility.
What You’ll Do
- Execute trades across commodities and macro asset classes with a strong focus on liquidity, risk, and market impact
- Partner closely with PMs and researchers to inform execution and market strategy
- Monitor positioning, flows, and macro drivers to optimize trade timing
- Contribute to improving trading tools, pricing, and analytics
What We’re Looking For
- 2–6 years of macro trading or trading support experience (commodities, rates, or vol)
- Strong understanding of market structure, liquidity, and execution across futures and OTC markets
- Sharp risk judgment and commercial instincts
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
