The Ministry of Highways is seeking candidates for summer employment as General Labourer/Flag Person for the Buffalo Narrows Section

As a labourer/flag person in a Section crew, you will:

• Provide traffic control (e.g. flagging);
• Clean the shop;
• Assist others with culvert maintenance, crack filling and directing traffic;
• Clean up after accidents (e.g. debris, clutter, animals);
• Establish work zones and erect appropriate signs;
• Replace broken signs; and
• Paint.

As a member of a team that ensures public safety, you will have the opportunity to work with new and advanced technologies and equipment.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license. Candidates must be able to perform the duties of this position in a safe manner.

C - SGEU Regulated 37.33 - one day off every three weeks
