Come join us.</p></div><p></p> <div> <p>The <strong>Vendor Management Consultant</strong> is responsible for overseeing Gore’s external vendor network, which includes more than 500 vendors supporting the Claims organization and Gore’s insureds. This role requires deep <strong>insurance and claims adjusting experience</strong>, along with demonstrated expertise managing complex vendor relationships, including <strong>law firms, medical professionals, independent adjusters, and other specialized service providers</strong>.</p> <p>The Vendor Management team is accountable for managing over <strong>$60M in annual vendor spend</strong>, ensuring vendors consistently meet Gore’s performance, customer service, quality, and cost‑management standards.</p> </div> <p><br>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;strategic partnerships with vendors, including external&nbsp;IMEs,&nbsp;Lawyers,&nbsp;and other 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;party vendors.&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for the relationship management of vendors for the Preferred&nbsp;Partner Network for&nbsp;Accident Benefits, Casualty &amp; Legal&nbsp;</li> <li>Accountable for the overall performance of vendor partners.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor and enforce vendor compliance with contractual and service level agreements (including third party privacy, compliance and reputational risks).</li> <li>Manage and resolve any issues or&nbsp;customer/broker/internal&nbsp;escalations related to the vendors and their services.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with the Claims leadership, adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of the vendor program with the business objectives and customer needs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with procurement on RFP and contract renewals.</li> <li>Negotiate with external vendors on contract renewal and compliance, while being mindful of cost containment and savings to impact bottom line revenue.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support the transition and integration of Unica vendors to Gore, where required</li> <li>Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project timelines are met and work is completed in a timely manner</li> <li>Train and educate vendors and internal staff on&nbsp;where&nbsp;required&nbsp;</li> <li>Research and implement&nbsp;new technologies&nbsp;and tools to program and vendor capabilities&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee&nbsp;vendor&nbsp;performance&nbsp;&amp; identify&nbsp;improvement&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyze and report on the vendors' performance metrics&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive vendor service excellence.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify&nbsp;and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and innovation&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and business partners.&nbsp;</li> <li>Regular vendor office visits and face to face meetings with vendor partners&nbsp;where&nbsp;required&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor and manage regular audits and review of external vendor operations&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct regular audits and reviews of the vendors' operations, processes, and systems to ensure&nbsp;compliance,&nbsp;quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the appraisals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and&nbsp;enforce Vendor Action Plans based on&nbsp;audit findings.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify&nbsp;third party risks including privacy and regulatory breaches and/or potential reputational risk and inform as per internal processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Retain and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;records of vendor meetings,&nbsp;agendas&nbsp;and action plans.&nbsp;</li> <li>Share&nbsp;feedback with&nbsp;Gore Mutual’s Procurement Team highlighting&nbsp;any contractual breaches.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will need to succeed:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Post secondary education, undergraduate degree or related experience</li> <li>5-10 years relevant work experience</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing external vendors or adjusting claims, preferably in Accident Benefits, Casualty and Legal is an asset</li> <li>Strong knowledge of&nbsp;vendor management&nbsp;processes, standards, and tools</li> <li>Strong relationship/interaction and negotiation skills</li> <li>Experience in performance management and action planning for vendors</li> <li>Previous&nbsp;experience leading the onboarding and off boarding of vendor</li> <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.</li> <li>Ability to&nbsp;analyze&nbsp;data,&nbsp;identify&nbsp;trends, and make recommendations.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</li> <li>Willingness to travel as needed to visit the vendors and their locations</li> <li>Ability to lead small projects end to end and drive project outcomes</li> <li>Build business cases to&nbsp;showcase&nbsp;benefits of vendor management program and new vendors</li> </ul> <p>The expected base salary range for this position is $81,000 - $131,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.</p> <p>Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels.
