The Role
As Chef de Cuisine, you will oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring excellence in execution, team leadership, and financial performance. You will partner closely with senior leadership to maintain standards while continuing to build a strong, accountable kitchen culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all daily kitchen operations in a high-volume environment
- Drive consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
- Manage and develop Sous Chefs and line-level team members
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
- Execute scheduling and manage labor to meet financial goals
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with leadership on menu execution and operational improvements
- Build and maintain a positive, high-performance kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant
- Current Chef de Cuisine or strong Executive Sous Chef ready to step up
- Proven ability to lead large teams in fast-paced kitchens
- Strong financial acumen (food cost, labor, systems)
- Detail-oriented with high culinary standards
- Hands-on, calm, and solutions-driven leadership style
