Job Description

As a member of the Finance Team at Godrej Industries Group, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainable, long-term value creation and ensuring the health of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • **Invoice processing**
  • Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all relevant supporting documentation is attached to invoices.
  • **Expense management**
  • Process and review employee expense reports, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policies.
  • Verify receipts, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies, errors, or policy violations in expense reports.
  • Provide guidance to employees on expense reporting procedures and policy compliance.
  • **Data entry and support**
  • Enter invoice details accurately into the accounting system.
  • Maintain communication with department personnel to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoice and T&E processing.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management on invoice status and processing improvements.

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in invoice processing or accounts payable roles.
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level financial software and systems.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting practices and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in expense management software such as Concur.

Additionally, you are expected to have:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.
