Key Accounts Manager-Bancassurance

Position Description:

As a Key Account Manager – Bancassurance at GoDigit General Insurance, you will be responsible for driving insurance sales by managing key relationships with bank and NBFC branches. You will interact regularly with branch managers, train partner staff, and support mapped branches in meeting their insurance sales goals. You will also be responsible for product education, sales enablement, and ensuring that all assigned targets are achieved in line with GoDigit’s strategic growth initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Visit partner bank and NBFC branches regularly and engage with branch managers to promote insurance products.
  • Ensure that sales targets assigned to each mapped branch are met across all relevant parameters.
  • Educate customers on GoDigit’s insurance offerings and explain product features and solutions.
  • Support partner branches through training, customer interactions, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Work within an open architecture environment, ensuring multi-partner coordination and strategic focus.
  • Facilitate smooth operations and coordination with internal GoDigit teams to support branch activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in Bancassurance or banking alliances.

Education

  • Minimum: Graduate

Technical Proficiency:

l Familiarity with CRM tools, policy issuance platforms, and Excel reporting

Behavioral Traits:

  • Partner Focus: Strong relationship-building ability with bank staff and front-line teams.
  • Execution Orientation: Ability to work on the ground to ensure timely implementation of campaigns and training.

l Problem Solving: Proactive approach in resolving servicing or documentation issues.

l Communication: Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Goal Driven: High energy and focus on achieving area-level insurance sales targets.
