About the Role
Global Child Wellness Center is hiring a results-driven, experienced Child Counselor with a strong foundation in behavioral health or medical settings. If you are passionate about transforming children’s lives through structured, evidence-based interventions and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead individual and group counseling sessions for children with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns
- Conduct detailed psychological and behavioral assessments and design targeted intervention plans
- Manage and monitor complex cases with measurable outcomes and timely follow-ups
- Collaborate closely with therapists, and clinical teams to ensure integrated care delivery
- Provide structured guidance and training to parents and caregivers
- Maintain precise, compliant, and confidential clinical documentation
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Proven experience in behavioral health, child counseling, or medical settings.
- Strong understanding of child development and mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience with children with special needs.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, behavior therapy, or play therapy.
