Senior Child Counselor (Behavioral Health / Medical field Experience Required)

About the Role

Global Child Wellness Center is hiring a results-driven, experienced Child Counselor with a strong foundation in behavioral health or medical settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead individual and group counseling sessions for children with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns
• Conduct detailed psychological and behavioral assessments and design targeted intervention plans
• Manage and monitor complex cases with measurable outcomes and timely follow-ups
• Collaborate closely with therapists, and clinical teams to ensure integrated care delivery
• Provide structured guidance and training to parents and caregivers
• Maintain precise, compliant, and confidential clinical documentation
• Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Proven experience in behavioral health, child counseling, or medical settings.
• Strong understanding of child development and mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Expertise:

• Experience with children with special needs.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, behavior therapy, or play therapy.
